1.1 Applicability of This Agreement

In this Privacy Policy, "Zettlab" refers to all products and services accessed and used through the Zettlab client, including websites, the Zettlab Software Development Kit (SDK) for third-party websites or applications, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), mini-programs, and any products or services added due to technological advancements (collectively referred to as "Zettlab AI NAS"). Different versions of Zettlab may have different features and services. Unless otherwise specified for other versions, we will collect and process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If a specific version of Zettlab has its own separate privacy policy, that privacy policy will also apply. In case of any conflict between this policy and the privacy policy of other Zettlab versions, the latter shall prevail. Please note that certain operations and features may differ across different versions of Zettlab, and this should be considered based on the version you are actually using.
This policy only applies to Zettlab's products and services. Third-party services are responsible for describing their own privacy policies and data collection methods, and are not included within the scope of this policy.

During your use of the NAS device, Zettlab cannot access any personal data stored on your device (such as photos, documents, videos, etc.). These data can only be accessed by you or friends whom you have authorized. You can log in using a local account, which includes both administrator and non-administrator accounts. If you choose to use a local account, all data will only be stored on your NAS device and phone (or computer), and Zettlab will not collect any personal data. You can also log into Zettlab using a local account, during which no personal information will be collected.

2.Device Binding

To successfully bind and manage Zettlab devices, we need to collect the following information: device model, device serial number (SN), MAC address, IP address, remote connection ID (if you have enabled remote connection), custom device name, device system status (online/offline/sleep mode), device ownership role (owner/sharer), and warranty expiration date (visible only to the administrator). This information will help you complete the device binding, identify the device, associate it with your account, ensure you can query and manage the devices bound to your account, and monitor the device status in real time. This ensures that device management permissions are correctly assigned. For device administrators, we will also collect the warranty expiration date to remind you in a timely manner to perform warranty services.

2.2 Login History and Trusted Device Management

  1. Login Time: Records the exact time of each login, down to the second.
  2. Action Records: We record actions such as login and unlinking to better manage account security.
  3. IP Address: We use the IP address to accurately locate your network login position (down to the city level).
  4. Operating System: We identify the operating system used during login, such as iOS, Android, macOS, or Windows.

2.Trusted Device Feature

To enhance the convenience and security of logging in, Zettlab allows you to set up “Trusted Devices,” which bypasses repeated identity verification and simplifies the login process. This feature makes logging in on trusted devices more convenient while maintaining security.
  1. Login Information Collection: To enhance account security, we record the device model and name, login location (precise to the city based on IP address), and the time of the last login. This information helps us verify login behavior and take necessary security measures.
  2. User Management: You can view your login history and the list of trusted devices. You have the right to delete any suspicious devices. If abnormal activity is detected, we recommend that you change your password and delete suspicious devices to ensure account security.
  3. Enhancing Account Security: By monitoring login history, we can effectively prevent unauthorized access and maintain account security. If the system detects abnormal login attempts or security threats, we will immediately take appropriate action, including notifying you and implementing further preventive measures.
  4. Managing Trusted Devices: You can manage trusted devices at any time to reduce frequent verification requests and easily remove any suspicious or outdated devices

3.Support Tickets

While using Zettlab, you can seek technical support through the “Support Ticket” feature. To provide efficient assistance, we may collect the following information: Zettlab device serial number, device model, operating system, client model, and the method of accessing Zettlab (such as via LAN or wireless network). This information helps us understand your usage and provide customized technical support and solutions. Rest assured, we will only use this data to address technical issues related to Zettlab.

4.Cloud Storage Services

If you choose to integrate Zettlab with third-party cloud storage services (such as OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.), we will collect your cloud storage account information, including account name, profile picture, membership level, cloud storage capacity, etc. This information will help Zettlab synchronize and transfer files with third-party cloud services. We will request the necessary file read/write permissions to ensure smooth file upload, download, and task synchronization with third-party cloud storage services. Please note that these permissions will only be used for file transfer and synchronization tasks and not for other purposes. You are free to decide whether to link Zettlab with third-party cloud storage services. Refusing this connection will not affect your ability to use other features of Zettlab.

5.LAN Device Search via IP

When you use the IP connection on the NAS display and activate Local Area Network (LAN) devices, we will collect certain device-specific information, including device name, IP address, MAC address, serial number, operating system version, device model, and status. This data helps us accurately identify and efficiently manage your LAN devices, ensuring a convenient user experience.

6.Remote Connection Service

You can choose to enable the Remote Connection feature, which allows you to quickly connect to your Zettlab device remotely. To provide this functionality, we will collect the following information from your Zettlab device:
  1. Product Serial Number
  2. IP Address
  3. Router Port
This information is crucial for establishing a secure remote connection and optimizing the user experience. The serial number helps ensure precise and secure association with your Zettlab Cloud account, allowing you to access the remote connection service. When you enable the remote connection feature, we will also collect your IP address and router port information to support the remote connection to your device, enabling you to conveniently manage your Zettlab device remotely.
Please note that we will only collect the above information if you choose to enable the Remote Connection feature. If you choose not to use this feature, Zettlab will not collect or use this information.
When you enable the Remote Connection service in a Local Area Network (LAN) environment, we will collect additional device-specific information, including:
  1. IPv4 Address, IPv6 Address
  2. MAC Address
  3. DDNS Address
  4. Device Status (whether initialized or online)
  5. WOL (Wake-on-LAN) Switch Status
  6. Device Hostname
  7. Device Boot Time
This information is collected to ensure that you receive a stable and smooth connection experience when accessing your device within a LAN environment.

Device Information: This includes your device's serial number (SN), Zettlab device system version, network status (such as your IP address and network connection status), operation logs (system activities and user-initiated operation logs), and client information (operating system type and version, software version, etc.).
  2. Access to Personal Files:Our technical support team can only access the personal files stored on your Zettlab device if you explicitly authorize and grant appropriate permissions.
The purposes for collecting this information include:
  1. Efficient Technical Support Services: By collecting device information, we can quickly identify and resolve issues, providing you with precise technical support.
  2. Specific User Permissions: Our technical support team will initially request general user permissions to ensure that access to device information is limited to the necessary scope.
  3. Comprehensive Diagnostics: For complex technical issues, we may request additional permissions to better diagnose the problem. This could involve creating and providing an administrator account for the technical support team to access the device. In such cases, access to your personal files will only occur with your explicit consent.

8.User Experience Survey

Zettlab may invite you to participate in user experience surveys to continuously optimize our products and services, improving user satisfaction.
  1. Email Address Collection: We collect your email address to send you survey questionnaires, which help us understand your experience and feedback regarding Zettlab. Participation in the survey is voluntary, and you may choose whether to provide this information.
